Fiat 500 Autumn / Winter Collection

The weekend before last, the boy finally bought a shiny new car, after his old one decided to not start anymore. This got me wondering and thinking. I’ve had my licence for over 10 years now, but I have never owned a car. I don’t even drive regularly, because the public transport system here is quite straight forward and (relatively) reliable – I know, SHOCKER. Most importantly, it works out as much cheaper.

BUT that doesn’t mean that I don’t play with the idea of owning a car – I’m 29 and for me owning a car is one step of being a real grown up – and one of these cars I would consider is the Fiat 500. Not only is it a really good value car (well, I know nothing about cars, but the boy does and he says the car is really good for its price, and whatever the boy says about cars is taken as absolute truth) IT IS ALSO REALLY REALLY PRETTY!!

When they then asked me to participate in their new campaign and style 3 outfits, I couldn’t say no!


This one was the easiest to style because this is what I wear practically every day: knackered Converse, Jeans, band t-shirt and a blazer or coat and occasionally a hat. Pretty simple, but I like the colours – here in Manchester it’s always so grim and rainy, so I try to brighten up my day with some vivid colours!


The ‘Groovy Wear’ outfit was a tad trickier. Firstly the name being weird – who says ‘groovy’??? – and secondly the meaning of it. So in my head I interpreted ‘groovy’ as ‘cool’ and ‘edgy’ hence the massive heels and the leather skirt and all that. Plus a bit of colour from the belt.


The last outfit I interpreted as ‘glam & glitz’ type look, so sequins and glitter had to come out along with a dressy-type dress. Yet again, a colour splash ;)
