Upcoming: Sleek MakeUp Nude Collection

You all know that Sleek MakeUp is one of the most popular and best drugstore aka high-street brands in the UK and they are most famous for their i-Divine Palettes followed by their very newly released Pout Paints (OCC Lip Tar contestants!).

They have in total released over 16 i-Divine palettes, most being limited editions (for example Curacao, Monaco, Bad Girl, Good Girl, Sparkle, Graphite, Jewels, Circus, Bohemian, Oh So Special etc) and a few being permanent (Acid, Original, Sunset, Storm and Primer). For the Monaco and the Curacao palettes onwards, they also introduced corresponding blushes and Pout Polishes (tinted lip balms) to make up their collections, which they will now continue.

On August 31, 2011 Sleek MakeUp will add a new i-Divine palette called Au Naturel, a new blush called Suede and a new Pout Paint called Bare Minimum.

My thoughts
I love the look of this collection!!! It looks like it’s ALL matte eye shadows in the Au Naturel palette, which is something that Sleek has always missed out on (most of their eye shadows are normally shimmery or sparkly)!! I CANT WAIT! And FINALLY it’s wearable colors too! They will allow for beautiful neutral looks that will go beautifully with a dark or blood red or a dark purple. And the blusher can be used for contouring if you are a porcelain doll or as non-shimmer highlighter if you are a dark beauty!! AWESOME, CANT WAIT TO SEE IT FOR REAL!!

    They're not all matte though, 3 or 4 shades are shimmery I believe.I am not complaining as Sleek's shimmer shades blend so nicely.

    when the destination s happened, this is one of the palettes i coveted the most. There are actually 2 palettes I wanted from the whole event: monaco and this in the nude one. I managed to see it at 'my' superdrug (well i still need to travel for it) and sadly it's not performing for me. the first row is nowhere near pigmented enough and it makes me want to cry. I had hoped that they would try to rectify it between march and now but sadly it came out as it was. what a shame. it looked so promising but sadly it doesnt deliver enough for me xx
