Last week I blogged about the opportunity to sign up for a ‘Toxic Nature’ make over by Illamasqua’s make up artist Mika Johnson. It cost £30 and was redeemable against products. I booked my appointment as soon as I saw the email for 19th March at 1pm.

I didn’t know what to expect from the session, I didn’t even know how long it would last for, but I was excited nonetheless because whenver I go to Illamasqua regardless of where (Selfridges in Birmingham or Beak St in London) I have the best time ever.

Illamasqua’s make up artists are just so incredibly talented and open-minded and easy to talk to and creative. LOVE IT!! And some of you know that Illamasqua has had a massive impact on my life. They’ve made me more daring, more open-minded, more expressive and more confident with myself.

I said to Mika when I got there that I want him to do any make up he fancied, that he can really go for it and he surely did and seemed to really, really enjoy himself.

I loved the attention I got not just from the other Illamasqua MUAs (Gavin and Marcia) but the random shoppers that were strolling past. I loved it! But I loved even more what Mika created on my face.
