I’m giving PolyVore a little go after I thought I should do more clothes combination posts in the upcoming weeks. The trends for Spring/Summer are so varied that it might be worth showing how you can dress these different trends. Obviously I’m still going to try and make it affordable, but because PolyVore‘s item library/database is limited and it’s not easy to find everything I have in mind, there might be the odd pricier product or American-exclusive slipping in! But I hope you don’t mind.
Pastel colours are THE big thing this season – mint green especially. Every retailer carries them, e.g. pastel jeans for about £20 (I’ve seen them in H&M, New Look and Missguided at least!). That in combination with light fabrics like chiffon – especially blouses – makes for a great combination! I love both of these trends – I have been buying a ton of chiffon blouses (mind you, not sleeveless ones!). I still need to get my own pastel skirt or at least jeans!
If you want to add some summer glam to it, why don’t you get hold of a big torque (bip) statement necklace and geometric earrings and lots and lots of bangles! For those who follow me on Instagram, you saw that I just bought one of these torque necklaces from New Look!
I would finish off the outfit with a denim jacket or gilet or maybe even a leather jacket and some lovely high wedges to give it a nice little kick!
Do you like this outfit? Would you wear it? How would you style pastel colours?
