Last night, the first round of big, big prestigious American award ceremonies took place in Hollywood – the Golden Globe Awards.

And of course, besides the drama surrounding Ricky Gervais’s hosting of the show (I don’t get why they invited him back after all that drama last year – but I guess this brings a lot of viewers wanting to witness more drama), all eyes were on the arrival of all stars on the red carpet.

The outfits above are my favourites. There were a lot of different and unique dresses, such as Dianne Argon’s laser-cut-out-swans dress or Zooey Deschanel’s 60s style dress, but I always prefer classic, sleek simplistic dresses. Jessica Alba’s dress was also beautiful – but it was a bit too bling compared to these beautiful dresses!
