Welcome to an another edition of Follow Friday Interview Series! Again I am sooo sorry that I’ve been AWOL for so long, but like I said in my recent Youtube video, there’s reasons for my absence.

How long have you been blogging?
My first post was published on 23rd March 2010, so I have been blogging for nearly 17 months now :)

How many subscribers (across all media including Twitter, Youtube, Face etc) do you have right now?
I have over 1750 Blogger subscribers, nearly 1200 Twitter tweeters, 3450 Youtube viewers and 450 Bloglovin’ readers – WOW, that’s 6850 subscribers overall, I have never realised that before :D

What do you blog most about?
My blog is primarily makeup focused, but I do throw a bit of fashion and photography in there every now and again. I prefer to blog about whatever is on my mind that day, so sometimes it can be a review, FOTD, a new product release or whatever takes my fancy!

How did you come up with your blogs name?
When I first started blogging I was really scared that people ‘in-real-life’ would find my blog, so I combined my real name ‘Anna’, with ‘Vivi’ (god knows why), hence the Vivianna, and I knew it was going to be about makeup so I added a simple ‘Does Makeup’ to the end. It makes me smile as ‘Vivianna’ has become a bit of a nickname for me now, and I quite like it!

Do you blog full time? If not, what do you do full time?
I would love to blog full time, but at the moment I’ve just graduated so I’m currently doing an Internship at a Beauty PR firm in London.

Have you ever been invited to any blogging events? If yes, what one was your favourite?
Back in the day, the lovely Sinead from Danity Dollymix, invited me to an Aussie event which was great, and I met some lovely people there. But since then, the only other event I have gone to is The Only Way Is Blogging event, which was amazing! It was organised by London Beauty Queen, and was nice as you didn’t need an invite to go, so you got to meet all different types of bloggers. I think there is another one being arranged for the Autumn time and I definitely will be re-attending!

What type of hair do you have and what’s your favourite haircare brand?
My hair can be quite dry at the ends but greasy at the roots, and my favourite haircare brand is Head & Shoulders – it may not be the fanciest, but it does the job!

What’s in your makeup bag?
I tend to route around my whole collection every morning when I am doing my makeup, so don’t have a makeup bag per se. But things that I have been reaching for a lot recently include Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation, Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer, MAC Mineralise Skinfinish Natural, MAC Melba Blusher, NARS Laguna Bronzer, Shu Uemura eyelash curlers, L’oreal Telescopic mascara and MAC Shy Girl lipstick.

What products do you swear by?
There are a few things that I have repurchased time and time again that are definitely holy grail products. They include Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, Guerlain Lingerie De Peau Foundation, MAC Mineralise Skinfinish Natural and MAC Hue lipstick.

Who are your favourite bloggers?
Right now I am so happy that Laura, previously from Lollipop26 has come back to blogging and I’m loving her new blog – Buy Now, Blog Later. Other blogs that I adore are, 15 Steps And A Beauty Blog, Gh0stparties and Mariannan‘s blog. There are so many others, I follow hundreds of blogs on Blogger!

What animal would you be if you could choose?
A leopard, then I would have the most fabulous fur coat all year round.

What is your pet hate?
People that pick their nose while on public transport – HEAVE!

What is your vice?
Sugar, end of ;)

What makes you subscribe to a blog?
I think I mostly end up subscribing to blogs where the writers and me have similar tastes. It’s always interesting to find out what products they are liking then adding them to my mental shopping list. Great photography, clean layouts and writing with a bit of sense of humour adding in make me click the follow button.

How do you think you blog stands out from other blogs?
I like to think that my blog is a little different as I do try to combine and keep up to date with posts and videos. I try not to take it too seriously as well, and add in a bit of banter for the reader ;)

Do you have a favourite makeup artist, if so who is it?
I love Lisa Eldridge, everything she does looks so effortless and natural. She is a magician when it comes to makeup.

How would other people describe you, using only 5 adjectives?
I have just asked my sister, she said ‘idiot, vain, pretty, massive geek/nerd, funny’ – Cheers Megan ;)

What do you consider to be your strengths?
I do try to keep an optimistic outlook on things – the glass is always half full people!

What is your favourite beauty magazine?
Allure, it’s such a shame that it is so expensive over here, as it’s an American magazine. But it is by far my favourite beauty magazine to read.

What food can you not stay away from?
Sugar, and chicken and pepperoni pizza – YUM!

How often per month do you do a haul?
I usually pick things up all the time, and probably do a big shop around payday ;) But as I’m interning at the moment, hauling is having to be put on hold for a while ;)

Is there something about you we should know, that you haven’t shared before?
I have an amazing ability to roll and loll my stomach around, if it all goes tits up I think I will become a belly dancer :D
