I’m finally back in the UK finally with my man again and still almost another 2 months off before Final Year hits me probably very hard! Still got plenty of uni stuff to do beforehand, but I’m really hoping I will be blogging (and also even youtubing!!) more again! Apparently my room at uni is nicely lit and bigger than the room I was stuck in from July 2010 to July 2011. FINALLY space to move (and store my makeup stuff in haha!)

Today I’m introducing you to the lovely Summer from SLH x Beauty, who emailed me when I asked you guys to send me your suggestions as who to feature in this series and she sent me so many awesome suggestions that I had to feature herself too!! What a lovely girl!!

How long have you been blogging?
I’ve not been blogging for long, around 3 months so I’m still very new to the blogging world!

What do you blog most about (reviews? make-up looks? hair care products? fashion?)?

I mostly review make up items although I have a few other posts in the pipe line!

How did you come up with your blog’s name?
Well, SLH are my initials and beauty is what my blog is about, I separated the 2 with a “x” because I think it looks cute!

Do you blog full-time? If not, what do you do full-time?
I don’t blog full time, I’m a student full time and I also have a part-time job.

Have you ever been invited to any blogging events? If yes, which one was your favorite?
I’ve not yet been invited to any blogging events

What type of hair do you have and what’s your favorite hair care brand?
I have long, straight, blonde hair. I don’t have a particular favourite brand however my favourite product (salt spray) is by Charles Worthington, or at least that the only brand I’ve tried for that product. I don’t really have any stand out hair care products that I’ve come across (apart from a conditioner which was sent to me but I’ve not tried anything else from the brand), I’m always on the look out!

What’s in your make-up bag?
It varies, mostly it contains: Diorskin Nude foundation, Nars blush/bronzer trio, Chanel Soleil de tan, Mac CremeCup lipstick, Jill Stuart lipbalm, Mac MSFN, Benefit erase paste concealer, Maxfactor false lash effect mascara, Dolly wink liquid eyeliner

What products do you swear by?
In terms of cosmetics I swear by Diorskin Nude foundation, it’s my HG foundation (it’s such a shame that it’s so expensive!) and I also have a HG moisturiser and it’s Mac’s comfort cream which I love, I was shocked at how amazing it is because most people aren’t big fans of Mac skincare.

What animal would you be if you could choose?
Hmm, I don’t know…an elephant because they’re cute!

What’s your pet hate?
Hmm, my pet hate has to be overly touchy-feely people. I hate it when people I hardly know grab hold of me or touch me unnecessarily, it’s just creepy!

What’s your vice?
Shopping! I’m awful at it, yet I do it so much. I’m incapable of saving money!

What makes you subscribe to a blog?
A nice easy layout (simplistic and minimal), lots of pictures, good writing and posts!

How do you think your blog stands out from the other blogs?
Well, my blog is very pink and has a hello kitty background which makes it stand out but I think mostly my honest opinions not all of my reviews consist of me gushing about a certain product if I buy something and don’t like it I will say so!

Do you have a favorite make up artist? If yes, who is it
My mum :) She isn’t a make up artist anymore though.

How would other people describe you using only 5 adjectives?
Little, blonde, sarcastic, friendly, funny!

What do you consider your strengths?
This is like a job interview! I think my strengths are that I am very dedicated, if I set my mind to something I will do it…eventually. I’m also stubborn which can be used as a strength!

What is your favorite beauty magazine?
I like the Vogue beauty magazines because the pictures are gorgeous!

What food can you not stay away from?
Chicken, Bacon…

How often per month do you haul?
I haul when I get paid which is every 2 weeks so I haul on average twice a month although sometimes a little more.

Is there something we should know about you that you haven’t shared before?
I want to be either a lawyer or in the intelligence services later on in life, I’m planning on studying history at university before doing a law conversion…however I’m extremely indecisive so it could all change completely!

Hahaha I do love Summer’s last answer. I can find her aims to be totally awesome!! How cool would it be to work in the intelligence service! HARDCORE!! And yes, 2 questions are always job-interview-like. I find those two incredibly important. Says a lot about a person, probably more than all the other questions combined!! :-D
