Welcome to the 3rd instalment of my new Follow Friday Interview Series!! I hope you’ve been enjoying it so far, getting to know London Beauty Queen and The London Lipgloss!
Today’s edition will be featuring the lovely A Little Obsessed.
She’s one pretty lady and very dedicated to blogging. The few events I’ve been invited to, she was always there!!! So cool! And my God, her blog is awesome!!!
Name: Sabrina
Age: 19
Blog: A Little Obsessed
Twitter: SabrinaLovesYou
Facebook: ALittleObsessed
How long have you been blogging?
Just over two years.
How many subscribers (across all media incl Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc) do you have right now?
I am lucky enough to be blessed with over 2000 blog followers and over 1000 Twitter follows, it makes me smile every time I see someone else has taken the time to follow!
What do you blog most about (reviews? make-up looks? hair care products? fashion?)?
I mainly post review of beauty products as well as some fashion posts.
How did you come up with your blog’s name?
I actually get this question quite a lot and I don’t think I really have an answer. I guess I came up with it simply because I am blogging about things I am a little obsessed with.
Do you blog full-time? If not, what do you do full-time?
No I don’t blog full time, I actually go to university and study Fashion Marketing and have also started a part time job recently.
Have you ever been invited to any blogging events? If yes, which one was your favourite?
I am lucky enough to live in London and be invited to quite a few events, the most recent ones being VO5/TRESemme and Filthy Gorgeous. They are all really good and it’s so nice meeting other bloggers as well as learning about new products.
What type of hair do you have and what’s your favourite hair care brand?
Sadly I don’t have amazing hair as it is very thin so I look for hair care that will add volume. My favourite shampoo is the Liz Earle botanical shine shampoo and I have recently been liking the Tresemme hair care range.
What’s in your make-up bag?
I don’t think I carry too much makeup with me usually just a few (okay maybe about 5) lip balms, a foundation (usually Bourjois) and always my Sleek contour kit.
What products do you swear by?
I can’t live without is my Oilatum face cream and my Liz Earle Hot Cloth cleanser they are both amazing and without them I would have awful skin.
Who are your favorite bloggers?
Currently Makeup Savvy and Sofia’s Journal.
What’s your pet hate?
I would say I have lots of fashion pet hates (such as skin coloured tights) but only a few beauty pet hates. I hate it when people have extremely long fake nails and really obvious hair extensions.
What makes you subscribe to a blog?
To me a good blog has a great layout, preferably a while background with black writing and nice large images. Without this even if the content is excellent I am unlikely to subscribe.
How do you think your blog stands out from the other blogs?
It’s always really hard to compliment yourself but I would say that I try hard to blog quite often although sometime this isn’t always possible. I try to post about relevant, up-to-date products and always try to include my own photos.
Do you have a favorite makeup artist? If yes, who is it?
I love Lisa Eldridge, everytime I open a magazine and I see an amazing look it is almost always one of hers. I love her YouTube they are so inspiring and informative.
How would other people describe you using only 5 adjectives?
Honest, stubborn, understanding, cheerful and talkative (not that orignal!)
What do you consider your strengths?
I am always honest, I think some people think it’s okay to tell a white lie but in my opinion honesty is always the best policy.
What is your favorite magazine?
I love Vogue and Grazia they’re my two favourite!
What food can you not stay away from?
As weird as it sounds at the moment I love cucumber, it has that fresh taste to it and I think it’s perfect for the summer!
How often per month do you haul?
I wouldn’t say I go out and haul a lot instead I buy things gradually. Almost every other day I will buy something but not necessarily something big maybe just a bracelet or a nice nail polish.
Thank you so much Maria for interviewing me and lots of hugs to everyone who made it this far and actually read the whole thing!
I truly hope you are enjoying this series. So far I’ve been introducing rather well-known bloggers, because I love them and they are awesome. But next week I’ll be featuring a lovely lady who is fairly new to the blogging world (compared to those interviewed!) and who definitely deserves your time, love and dedication!!
Much love,
Miss drifted Snow White
