L’Occitane is a French skincare brand that you can find on UK’s highstreet. It’s been praised for using natural ingredients and being very effective.
Last week I was lucky enough to attend the Radox event, but also the L’Occitane event at their boutique in Covent Garden Market, where they showcased their new products. Some of which are being added to their permanent range and some (being makeup that L’Occitane normally don’t do) are limited edition for the summer of 2011.
It was lovely just coming into the L’Occitane store. It smelled so lovely like spring!
L’Occitane’s Spring/Summer range “Pivoine Flora”
This limited edition spring/summer 2011 range is called “Pivoince Flora” which translates into “Peony Flower” (or something along those lines) and it is represented in the color and smell of the limited fragrance L’Occitane is offering.
As part of this limited edition range, L’Occitane is releasing a makeup range consisting of lip sticks, cream blushers, bronzers, lip glosses and eye shadows.

All ‘Pivoince Flora’ products (except for the parfume & roll-on) are living in cardboard packaging with beautiful floral designs. Each has a mirror (except for the lippies)
I really love the “Pivoine Flora” range. I think it’s really good that it offers so many things like hand cream and parfume but also a roll-on and makeup! Fantastic. And it all smells sooo good!! I especially love the lip gloss because as it warms from the heat of your lips it changes colors and gives you the perfect lip color! Ingenius! And I love the idea of the roll-on parfume. It’s a bit gentler to your wallet and better to carry around :-)
I really enjoyed the event, even though I couldn’t stay long and though it was difficult to find the boutique. I had great fun with Jessica (Star Violet Beauty), Charli (Secrets Behind The Closet Door) and her friend Alex. It was good to see some other familiar faces as well, though I didn’t get a chance to talk to them :-(
