New Look is like my 2nd favorite clothing chain in the UK, after Primark of course (Top 3: Primark, New Look, Dorothy Perkins). I’ve already blogged about Primark‘s AW 2011 Collection and today it’s New Look’s turn.
Just like Primark, New Look is focussing on a few popping colors like red, yellow and blue this season. However, they incorporate a lot more darker colors too, lot’s of black and navy. Right on trend mostly this collection features lots of white. White is like the new black in this year’s Autumn/Winter season. Also, just like Boohoo‘s AW11 Collection, it features a lot of straight lines and cuts and black & white contrasts. And oversized clothing are also on trend!
My thoughts
I like this AW2011 collection by New Look a lot. I prefer Primark‘s collection, but this come’s a close 2nd. I miss a bit more color, though I do massively approve of the red cape coat! I think that’s my favorite from what I can tell. Also the yellow chiffon pussy bow blouse is for the win!! This collection is right on trend in all aspects!!
