So today I was meant to fly to Vienna to see Muse. Lodz bought these tickets in mid June and we’ve been excited about this concert since then. Really excited, because the last time we saw Muse live was more than 2 years ago at Wembley stadium, where we ended up in front row but not in the best spot.
But everything went to sh*ts when we tried to check-in for our flights for Ryanair – we couldn’t find our email confirmation with the booking reference. Tried just checking in with the email and the flight details, but nada. Nothing. We’re not in the system. We thought we might’ve been real stupid and didn’t book the flights, but we did. It’s on Lodz’s bank statement. Rang up the bank, but they couldn’t help either. Lodz even drove to Luton to speak to Ryanair people personally, but no one was there and their call centre was closed too.
So after paying about £80 for the tickets and £148 for the flights, we’re not going. Which means we’ve got to pay £45 for cancelling the rental car, another £20 for cancelling the hotel. Soooo much money. We assume we must’ve put a typo into the email address where the confirmation email should’ve been sent to.
One stupid typo and we’ve lost over £250. Of course, Ryanair could’ve reissued the boarding passes, but that would’ve been £60 per person per flight. Another £240, which we definitely can’t afford.
I just hate myself. I was the one who put the booking details in. I’ve been crying for hours and hours. I would’ve loved to see Muse, I would’ve loved to finally introduce Lodz to my niece, her husband and their beautiful, little baby boy. But that’s not gonna happen anymore.

So I turn to my blog and to you lovely people. Because here I have confidence. Here, I still know who I am and what I’m doing. And I love it. Fashion cheers me up (admittedly, it also manages to upset me many a times, when I look at myself and compare myself to other beautiful bloggers).
I love these shoes Lodz bought me from Ever Ours, who are one of my new favourite online retailers. They are by far the best Jeffrey Campbell knock-offs around – trust me, I’ve tried a few. Especially for only £25!! Being tall after all is my life’s ultimate aim (if I had £100k I wouldn’t hesitate to spend it on a leg lengthening surgery!). Gemma couldn’t stop staring at the shoes the other day! So if you’re as short as me: GO GET THEM NOWWWW!
And I absolutely love that galaxy dress by Madame Rage. Galaxy print has been so big this year but I never got around to actually get a piece. I don’t think galaxy print leggings would’ve suited me. So when I got the chance to get my hands on a piece of galaxy fashion, it had to be a dress! This one is soooo comfy and ideal to wear on warmish autumn days!
Teamed up with that cute owl jumper from Fashion Union, I was pretty, pretty hot (hence the coat being over my bag!).

Anyways, blogging has cheered me up and I hope you enjoy this outfit. Sorry for all my whining, but I just needed to write about this crap. It’s therapeutic, ya know?!
