I’m always torn about maxi skirts and cropped tops/jackets, because I don’t think it works with my body shape and acute lack of height. But this summer I couldn’t resist either trends hoping that the printed maxi skirt from OASAP (*) will make me taller and the blue cropped denim jacket from Fashion Culprit (*), who are a great new affordable UK based fashion retailer, will bring my waist in.

I don’t know if this look works or not, but it’s darn comfortable, that’s for sure. I’m a bit tired of the dip-hem skirts & dresses at the moment. Again, I’m at war with my stupid legs, so this maxi skirt does well in hiding my stupid stubby legs.

Whether I succeeded or not in trying to look slimmer and taller, I’m not quite sure – I find it hard to judge how I appear (apparently I suffer from body dysmorphia) – I never think I look tall, etc. I let you be the judge. Either way, that cute little clover ring is my new good-luck charm – it’s my 2nd piece of bespoke jewellery (Lodz got me a custom-made ring)
