Shoes: Savannah x Nelly (*)
Colour Clash. If you had asked me a year ago whether I would combine a royal blue and a bright yellow I would shouted “HELL TO THE NO!”, but now it’s actually my favourite colour combination. Don’t ask me why, but I just love these two bold colours together!
I always like styling up a cute lacy dress like that Madam Rage one (currently £7!) with a blazer, because it just makes it look a bit smarter, a bit more grown up. The bright yellow works really well thanks to colour theory (yellow is the complimentary colour to blue, which means they harmonise together). Though I think a nice black biker jacket would’ve given it a nice grungy edge too! But then I wouldn’t wear those cute navy velvet shoes with the gold cap from Nelly, but maybe some Jeffrey Campbell knock-offs (my favourite ones are from Ever Ours) or some biker or ankle boots.
Massive thank you to Cinderela B for those beautiful earrings and bracelet as well – isn’t it just gorgeous? I had featured them in another outfit post already, but hadn’t managed to set them into scene properly! Thank you Lodz for taking these brilliant close-ups!
So Cinderela B kindly let me do a giveaway for you! How awesome is that? The prize? £50 to spend on their beautiful pieces! HURRAY! It’s like a FIRST TREAT OF 2013 kind of thing!!
