Happy Bank Holiday Weekend!!
I hope you’re all having (or had, if you’re reading this tomorrow) a fantastic warm sunny bank holiday weekend. How awesome has the sunshine been?!! Totally unexpected but HURRAH! Do you reckon this is summer? I certainly hope so! But I feel like just saying that is gonna jinx it massively. I’ve already managed to get myself a nice bright sunburn thanks to a lovely Chili cook-off street party event thing in the Northern Quarter on Saturday. I was just trying to turn my pasty skin into a nice slight tan but of course I overdid it. WHAT A SURPRISE!
OMG guys, I’ve signed up for the GYM!! Can you believe it?! I can’t!! But I’m sooo excited, because I feel like I’m taking control of my body image issues and my body dysmorphia and all this and I feel like I’m gonna kick it in the butt VERY VERY HARD!
I did about 7 days of the 30 day shred, but I just didn’t enjoy working out on my own. I need someone to be there with me to say ‘go on, another 10 minutes’. I’m really hoping my babe Rosie will do that for me!!!
At the moment I don’t really know what I’m gonna do in the gym workout wise and it’s super scary to see all those bulky blokes on the machine and I’m turning bright red in 2 seconds of cycling LOL.
I wanna lose weight and tone up so I guess I’ll be doing a lot of cardio workouts like treadmill (I’m not gonna run though haha I’m all about fast walking!), cycling and cross-trainer. And then maybe a few classes? I’ve tried Yoga but I’m not sure on it, it was interesting to do, but not at all what I expected. I’m gonna try Zumba and some other stuff too and always try to add one hour of workout after that.
Do you guys go to the gym? What kind of exercises do you recommend for toning and losing weight?
