When I went to Paris, I was given a small bottle of Sephora Eye MakeUp Remover for waterproof makeup when I spent a ridiculous amount of money at Sephora. I’ve now finished the bottle, so I thought a review is in order.

Description: “A waterproof eye makeup remover suitable for contact lens wearers and those with sensitive eyes. This do-it-all formula removes waterproof makeup and contains a lash-strengthening complex that’s rich in flavonoids and olive wood extracts.“
Packaging
The makeup remover comes in a clear round bottle with a black cap that is just as wide as the bottle. Due to its size it makes screwing and unscrewing the lid very easy and secure. The opening through which you dispense the product is nicely small so you don’t get a major amount of product in one go, which is brilliant as it avoids spilling too much. 5 out of 5
Product
It’s liquid eye makeup remover that removes even waterproof makeup, such as waterproof gel liners and mascara and whatever else you wear that is waterproof! It’s made out of two liquids (I cant find information about those), that are separated in the bottle. The top one is lighter than the lower half and you have to shake the bottle to mix them and activate its powers. It comes in two sizes so that it gives you the chance of testing the product before you splash out more money – not that either versions are expensive. I think it’s great that it comes in different sizes. I actually prefer makeup removers that are already ready in the bottle without shaking, but it is good that it’s liquid. So 4.5 out of 5
Quality
Sephora claims that this product is suitable for wearers of contact lenses and for people with sensitive eyes. I am neither of those so I can’t judge that aspect. But what I can tell you is that it is very oily. Whenever I used it I always had a greasy, oily film of residue left over which didn’t feel comfortable. And because it was so greasy I was having trouble really removing all eye makeup in one go. For me that deserves only a 2 out of 5
Overall
I wouldn’t buy this again. If at all I would only buy it because it’s so cheap. I don’t like the greasy film that it leaves behind especially since I already have oily lids and it feels like it’s made my eye lids even oilier. Maybe that’s because it’s for sensitive eyes though. 2.5 out of 5
