Hello my lovelies!!
How have you been? I hope all is good in the world wide web and offline as well!! I had a wonderful time in Paris and I’m gonna try and write & film haul and review videos as soon as I can, but I thought I could write about something else first.
A while ago, I ordered 70 Leishi pigments/loose e/s + 4 pairs of false eye lashes via eBay after seeing a review on them on youtube somewhere.
The Packaging:
The loose eye shadows come in little jars (see below for size comparison), so they’re easily storable. I love that they come with clear lids so you can actually see the colors, which makes my life easier.
Unfortunately they dont come with a sifter, so I gotta be careful when opening the jars so product doesnt spill everywhere.
The Leishi jar size compared to MsChic Eye Sparks (4-5g), Barry M Dazzle Dusts (3g) and NYX Ultra Pearl Mania (3g). As you can see it’s a lot smaller than the others, but it’s pretty much filled to the rim with product. Unfortunately, the Leishi label doesn’t state how much is actually in the jars, but I assume its about 2g.
The Eye Shadows:
My order included the pink collection (11 e/s), the purple collection (10 e/s), the blue collection (10 e/s), the green collection (12 e/s), the orange & brown collection (8 e/s), the yellow & cream collection (9 e/s) and the earth & natural & base collection (10 e/s). I believe there were a few e/s missing from each collection as they also sent me a glitter collection (black, white, silver, gold).
I gotta say, these Leishi pigments / loose e/s are amazing. the colour payoff is fantastic – They are so highly pigmented and easy blendable! All Leishi colours I received have a frost shimmer finish. I wish there had been some matte ones, but I can’t have it all, now can I? ;-)
This is what all the colors looked like on the eBay auction (left) and the colors I received, ordered by number
I would say that the auction picture shows the colours quite accurately
The Swatches:
top row: 51, 86, 44
middle row: 91, 84, 10
bottom row: 80, 35, 73
Verdict:
none of the jars come with sifters, so when you unscrew the lid, it makes a bit of a mess – so be careful when you open them.
All in all i think that was one of the best purchases I have ever made regarding make-up. I now have 70 beautiful long-lasting, easy applicable and blendable pigments which cost as much as 2 MAC pigments. I would have liked for some mattes as well as sifters in each jar, but other than than – fab investment! You can read some more comments on Leishi products here, here and here if you don’t like to just rely on my opinion.
