Quite recently I reviewed the (unfortunately rubbish) eye shimmers that Fearne Cotton released exclusively for Boots.
I was lucky enough to also receive Fearne’s nail polishes that she offers makeup and nail polish addicts, so here’s the review of that!
Product/Type: Nail Polishes
Available at: Boots (online & in store)
Description: “Fearne Nail Varnish colours are very wearable colours, ranging from classic reds to pretty pastels.“
Fearne Cotton’s nail polishes come in flat and round bottles: Round from the front, flat from the site. The bottles are made out of glass and have a gold-colored lid with a long brush. I actually prefer this packaging, because when you store them, you can see from above what color it is! Fabulous! 5 out of 5
Fearne offers 12 different colors to the consumer: a wide range of natural and reds and blues and greens with shimmery and non shimmer finishes. What I am missing are those very bold colors that I expect Fearne to wear judging some of her colorful outfits! You get 9ml for £5.50 so I think that’s a fair price, maybe a tad to much. I hope Fearne will add more colors to that range! 3 out of 5
I only had two to test – a shimmery and a non-shimmery one. The non-shimmery purple one would’ve almost not even needed a 2nd coat! But the shimmery one almost needed 3 coats. They weren’t thin or runny, so that’s good. I just think there might be some hit and miss. 3 out of 5
Would I buy these nail polishes? I’m not sure. I don’t think I would wanna take the risk of spending £5.50 and getting a miss rather than a hit. But don’t get me wrong, if I had to choose between Fearne the nail polishes and the Fearne eye shimmers, I would go for these nail polishes any time. 3 out of 5
