Radiant Skin • Foundations, Tinted Moisturisers & BB Creams

IMG_0838Like I said in my posts about highlighters and blushers I wanted to do a little series on radiant skin, so here’s the next part, about foundations, tinted moisturizers and co!

  1. Stila Stay All Day Foundation *
  2. Gosh BB Cream *
  3. Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer *
  4. Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk Foundation
  5. MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
  6. Revlon ColorStay Foundation

You might be surprised that I featured so many matte finish foundations like the Stila Stay All Day, the MAC Studio Fix Fluid and the Revlon ColorStay, but I wanted to feature them because I have oily skin and without looking shiny I still want to have a radiant looking skin.

Normally I combine any of those 3 foundations and mix it with the Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer. For me that tinted moisturizer doesn’t last very long and just ends up making me look dreadfully shiny, but in combination  with a matte finish, long lasting foundation it works really nicely. Obviously mixing foundations with anything takes a bit of practice to figure out how much to use (I just use a small drop but that’s because of my skin being soooo oily!).

So when I don’t feel like mixing stuff and I’m just lazy I reach for the beautiful Giorgio Amarni Lasting Silk foundation, because it’s just ever so slightly off-matte. It’s got such a beautiful finish it’s unreal! It doesn’t last uber-long, but it’s got such a stunning result that I don’t even care!

But of course if you don’t have to deal with shitty, oily skin, just mix the Laura Mercier product with a tinted moisturizer or a BB cream like the Gosh BB Cream or any other foundation you really like.

Or like I said before, just take your normal foundation and mix some liquid highlighter in!
