With a new year comes the opportunity to make resolutions. I normally make one resolution, that’s a little different and yet not different for me at all, because I kind of always do this. I guess my resolution would be ‘to keep it up’: I want to uncover new looks and discover the effects they have on me and onlookers.
Most of the time I create new looks for me and take myself out of my comfort zone with clothes, but of course I could try makeup again, but this year I kinda wanna delve more into coloured contact lenses. They’re often seen as a Halloween-only kind of thing, but in Asia for example girls seem to wear them all the time (correct me if I’m wrong).
Apparently many celebrities such as Jenifer Aniston, Naomi Campbell and Jessica Alba have used coloured contact lenses to put the finishing touches to their ensembles. Of course I’m not necessarily talking about the reptile-type-lense haha.
So why not come into 2013 with a new look and experiment a little, right? I mean I’m going to try and get some lenses anways to fix my astigmatism (my right, lazy eye), so I guess playing around with contacts will really help. I think you’ll be seeing a lot more close ups with me wearing contacts – that is if I can put up with poking myself in the eye haha!
