When it comes to shopping I’m a true German, like I fulfil the stereotype fully. I’m stingy as hell! If I can have an item that looks the same but is half the price I’ll have that. Out of season? Don’t care! It’s half price!!
But bargain hunting is obviously really time consuming, which as an impatient person does just NOT work for me ;) Where can I hunt best without having run around like a mad person? Westfield Stratford of course. It’s really become my new shopping mekka. It’s so much more relaxed than say having to go to Oxford Street (kill me now!)
So when I went there yday to buy myself a new DSLR (post coming soon!), which was one of my items from my 2013 Wishlist, I also went bargain hunting!
01 + 02 » H&M Black & Brown Faux Fur Stoles – I wanted some all winter long, but they were just too pricey for my liking. Now they were £5 a pop, so more than half-price. £10
03 » H&M Mermaid Box Bag – I love these bags. Not that I go out much to have any reason to have these bags, but WHEN, well THEN I’ll be ready! £5
04 » Primark White Long Blazer – I was looking for some cheap fine socks in Primark ‘cause my new shoes were rubbing and as I walked in I spotted this and it was love as first sight! £25 for a stunner like this. Totally forgot about the socks of course haha
05 » H&M Green Trousers – I’m trying to get away from black more and more. If you looked into my wardrobe, you wouldn’t see many black items. But jeans and trousers I rarely buy in other colours than dark denim or black. Tried these dark green trousers on and they made my ass look so nice, I couldn’t not have them ;)
Do you love bargain hunting like me that you accept buying things that aren’t on season anymore in the hope they’ll come back in a year’s time?
Yup, I’m suggesting the bog-standard Valentine’s Day gift idea – jewellery. But not just any jewellery that rubs off and turns orange and your fingers green, I’m talking the good stuff. Obviously not Tiffany’s – I mean who can afford that?!
Pandora also launched several new ranges of jewellery in 2012, including three new sets for the autumn and winter months. Along with the gleaming silver that is one of the jewellery house’s trademark designs, these co-ordinated sets featured smoky tones and shades of blue, with pearls, topaz and quartz, in their charms, rings, pendants and earrings. The “Breeze” collection was aimed specifically at those wanting distinctive pieces for the colder months of the year to match the autumn and winter wardrobe, as well as those looking to buy a beautiful and sophisticated gift for a loved one.
Add to that Pandora‘s classic pieces, such as its sterling silver or gold bracelets, and then it is easy to see why its jewellery never goes out of style, while still adding thousands of new admirers every year. Ever since its foundation in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1982, Pandora has attracted only the best designers and craftspeople – and the most discerning customers. This is set to continue in 2013.
As man you can’t ever go wrong with a little bit of bling for Valentine’s Day and it’s even better if you buy Pandora Jewellery. She’ll know what it is, she’ll know the price, even more so its quality and will definitely appreciate the gesture!
Holy crap, there’s already Valentine’s Day (and Mother’s Day!) press releases and sale offers whizzing into my inbox, it’s getting scary. Am I a bad girl for not giving a crap about Valentine’s Day? I don’t need a scheduled day to treat Lodz extra nice and vice versa.
But then again, I do love taken out to a restaurant and getting nice things and if that happens to be on Valentine’s Day, well I’m not gonna say no, right? LOL
I absolutely love their navy lace dress (which also comes in white!) that I styled in this outfit. It’s so gorgeous and figure hugging! I honestly have never worn a more flattering, perfect-fitting dress ever. It’s not like a dress you have to squeeze yourself into like a body-con but it is super figure-hugging! It’s actually the first fitted dress that I really, really, really like on myself!
And the delicate silver beading means there’s no need for any more bling, which is great! Styled with some glittery heels or some platform skyscraper killer heels I think this works brilliant for a clubbing night as well as a grown-up night out with the boy, don’t you think?
So Chi Chi Clothing is letting me host a giveaway, where you can win one of their beautiful dresses of your choice (except for the Couture dresses) for Valentine’s Day (or any other occasion of course!).
